Literally all this does is turns a color display into a monochrome display, or allows a monochrome display to display color content in monochrome. One of the main foundations of the MES.

Colour-to-Monochrome-Wrapper

This mainly exists just for

(a) if we were to publicly release the wrapper in adapter form

(b) putting this into consoles easily
